Kenect is growing fast, and we are adding new team members to keep up with demand in 2022.
We were recently featured as on the best companies to work for in the state of Utah and have been honored over the past year for our tremendous growth.
As our company gets bigger, we wanted to highlight some of the people who make Kenect great. Today we will introduce you to Tyler McQueen.
What is your role at Kenect?
I have had a few. I started as an AE on the legal team, and then an AE on the dealership team and now I am the legal team AE manager. I get to help our awesome Legal AE’s find and close deals!
What is your favorite part about Kenect?
The people and culture are the best part of Kenect. Our product is awesome, and I love the learn fast, go fast environment as well. Looking to the future I see so many opportunities to learn and grow that it keeps me excited!
What have you learned during your time with Kenect?
A buying decision can be made really quickly if you do it the right way. A great product, with the right questions, the rapport, the confidence and framework, people like what we do, and we do it right! Also, I have been amazed by the team, so many times we set a sales goal that seems so beyond realistic and somehow the team pulls it off. It has been fun to be a part of.
What is your favorite activity?
Biking. I spend lots of time in the bike saddle. From workouts on the exercise bike, to family cruises around town, to mountain biking all over the country and Utah.
What is your favorite movie or TV show?
Really enjoyed the TV show Ted Lasso, and the movie Parasite.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Usually getting outdoors. Snow skiing, water skiing, biking, rock climbing, ice hockey, hikes, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, weekend camp trips, playing in the dirt with our 2 kids. Two of my brothers have built mini ramps in their barns so I have been getting back into skateboarding and trying not to break anything. It’s a fun way to hang with my nieces and nephews who are way better than any of us adults! And fixing up our house, always some project going on and it’s fun to transform a space.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go, and why?
Back to the Dolomite mountains in Italy. My wife and I went there when we first got married and both agree we can’t wait to go back and spend more time hiking and biking in that mountain range. The small towns are so unique and fun!
