So far in 2022, we have seen a number of trade shows start back up, and with that we are heading back out on the road to meet with current and potential customers. This month, we traveled to Tennessee for what is becoming an annual tradition for us.
The 2022 NATDA Trailer Show kicked off on August 31st in Nashville and ran for three days total. Dealers from across the country came to check out the latest innovation in technology and equipment.
This year, around 1,000 people attended this massive event, held at the Music City Center. There were hundreds of booths, including our team from Kenect.
We have had so much interest in Kenect in recent months, that this year we decided to add a second booth to the event. Our team spread out, meeting with dozens of dealers. We even gave away hats, and several pairs of socks, which are quickly becoming a popular item!
This year, our Co-Founder and CSO Graham Anderson took some time out to speak. It was standing room only and he shared some insights into Kenect, and how texting is helping dealers streamline their service departments. He also participated in a panel discussion to answer any questions about texting, and the evolution of the emerging technology.
There was some concern that the Pandemic could have an effect on attendance, but our team said this was not the case. The venue was large and accommodated everyone. Even with our two booths, they say each one was buzzing through the entire show, and our team took time to chat with every person that stopped by to visit.
Overall, the response was positive and welcoming. As we have seen over the pandemic, many business owners are now interested in the benefits of texting. Customers are asking them about it, and the trend is not slowing down.
Now that things are getting back to normal, we hope to return to the NATDA Trailer Show next year, hopefully with an even bigger crowd!
