Kenect is getting a lot of recognition for its growth, and just this week was named one of the fastest growing companies in north America by Deloitte.
With all this expansion, Kenect has added dozens of new employees in just the past year.
Today we would like to introduce you to one of these hard workers here at Kenect: Andrew Malkin.
What is my role at Kenect?
I’m the SDR team lead in weddings and events. My colleagues and I reach out to folks to learn about their experiences and to introduce them to Kenect. We get to speak with more people about Kenect than anybody else in the company, which means we get to know firsthand how exciting Kenect is to businesses across the country.
What is your favorite part about Kenect?
The kindness. This is a spot where above all else — above the grittiness, the competitive edge, or the nimble minds — the team’s greatest talent is kindness. That means that instead of thrill-seeking, we’re grin-seeking. It’s a gift to work with folks who care sincerely and endeavor to prove it personally and professionally every day.
What is your favorite movie or TV show?
Anything rewatchable — from Bond movies, to Scrubs, to almost anything Pixar. (I love F1 racing, but that really damages the Cars franchise.)
I’ll watch Up end-to-end any day of the week.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I’m happiest when I’m near water, taking advantage of gravity, moving quickly, or walking around with my dog, Paul. I love working with kids. I teach skiing in the winter and volunteer as a Little League coach in the summer.
I also get a huge kick out of dressing up as Waldo.
